While shipping via Priority Worldwide, there are a few points to go over. These are listed below:

Business day

  • According to Canada Post, a business day is a regular weekday apart from Saturday and Sunday, any statutory holiday observed in either Canada or any country of destination or transit. In the case of a holiday in the destination location, Canada Post will see it fit to have the item delivered the following working/business day.

Calculating dimensional weight for Priority shipments

  • At any point in time during the course of the shipment, Canada post is entitled to assess andy additional charges based solely on the dimensional weight of the package. The dimensional weight is calculated by multiplying the Height x Length x Width and dividing that value by 139 cubic inches per round (if the calculation made was in inches) and by 5000 cubic centimeters per kg (if the calculation was taken in centimeters).

Duties and Taxes

  • Any international shipment will have duties and taxes applied to them. Canada Post will collect these charges from the Recipient upon delivery. However, if there is any case where the recipient does not clear the duties and taxes process, then the amount due will be collected from the Shipper.

Priority Worldwide Money-Back guarantee

  • The money back guarantee is an additional exclusive remedy provided by Canada Post in the event of a service failure. The money back guarantee has certain limitations:
    • One refund/credit is permitted per package.
