Can I tell the system only to charge the customer $6 ($5 for Item #2 and $1 for Item #1)?

In this article, we will tell you how you can configure the WooCommerce Table Rate Shipping Pro in a way that you can charge the customers by dividing the total amount based on the number of items.

Customer:

We are looking at your solution for table rate shipping and have a question related to how dynamic it is:

The way we devised our pricing scheme is that Item #1 is $4 for the first item and $1 for each additional. Likewise, for item #2 it is $5 for the first item and $1 for each additional. If I have one of Item #1 and one of the Item#2, can I tell the system only to charge the customer $6 ($5 for Item #2 and $1 for Item #1)? I do not want the customer to have to pay $9 for shipping.

Support:
Your business case can be resolved to an extent by using a combination of shipping pro and Bundled Rate Free Addon – https://www.pluginhive.com/knowledge-base/woocommerce-shipping-pro-chapter-3-bundle-rate-shipping/

In this, you have to configure the rates based on shipping classes. For example, if there are two items (item1 and item2), the rules will have to be framed based on shipping classes “item1” and “item2”.

After that, using bundled rate addon, you will able to change the price of the shipping class “item1” keeping the price of the other shipping class “Item2” intact.

Hope that was clear! Kindly go through the article in the above link.
