Can I use the plugin only to get real-time rates from UPS and not print labels?

I’ve recently purchased your UPS plugin and am very impressed with it thus far. I had a few questions about workflows on how the plugin interacts with UPS. Currently, I just want to use the plugin to get the rates and we take the order information to UPS for packaging and labeling (currently, don’t have a label printer). If I disable the printing feature of the plugin will it still send shipping information to UPS?
In general is there any workflow(documentation on the sequence of interactions the plugin performs) in order to better understand the process through ordering with different use cases. I’m new to this e-commerce stuff and the shipping aspect is still unclear to me.
You can use our plugin for fetching real-time rates alone, it’s not mandatory to use print label feature.
While creating a shipment, a label is generated. One label is generated on our plugin and other is generated on your UPS account website. So in case, if you are not using the print label feature, there is no information shared between the plugin and the UPS regarding the shipments.
