Why is tracking number not appearing on our emails to customers?

Are you not able to show the shipment tracking number on the order completion emails that are sent to the customers when using the WooCommerce UPS Shipping Plugin with Print Label? Read this small guide.

Customer :

The tracking number is not appearing on our emails to customers. We have the following item – UPS WooCommerce Shipping Version (2.2.1)

Please let me know if we’re missing something.

The first action you need to do would be to download the latest version of our plugin and install it.  For this, go to xadapter.com –> My Accounts (from API Downloads section.)

Once you do that, read below the standard process of automatic generation of email with tracking information on order completion.

  1. First, check whether you can mark the order as complete or not. Then check whether you have printed the label or not.
  2. Check whether “Shipment Tracking” is enabled.  This option can be found in UPS Plugin settings page.
  3. Once the label is printed, go to Orders –> Select order –> Mark the Order Status as “Completed”.
  4. Then go to the right corner, where you can see the Order Actions and mark it as “Completed Order”. Then click “Save Order”.

On clicking Save Order, an Order Completion email should go to the customer email address with tracking information present in it.
