Set up & use Multi-Carrier Shipping Label App for BigCommerce
The BigCommerce Multi-Carrier Shipping Label app reduces your effort significantly by automating shipping on your BigCommerce store.
With this app, you can display real-time shipping rates on your BigCommerce checkout page, pay the postage & print shipping labels, and enable shipment tracking from within your BigCommerce store.
This guide will provide you step by step instructions to install and set up the app.

Step 1: Install the app on your store from the BigCommerce app store
The first step is to install the app from the BigCommerce App store. You can visit the App store and search for “Multi Carrier Shipping Label” to install it.
Step 2: Visit the Shipping section under Store Setup and enable the app under your preferred shipping zones
To display live carrier calculated shipping rates at checkout, you need to visit Store Setup > Shipping

Visit Checkout Shipping Options and configure your Shipping Zone

Enable the Multi Carrier Shipping Labels app under the Real-Time Shipping Quotes for the particular zone as shown below.

Step 3: Add the Carrier Account Details
Select your preferred carrier from the list of carriers as shown below.

Enter the Carrier Account Details and Save the changes. You can even add multiple carrier accounts for fulfilling your orders.

Step 4: Configure the Ship From address on the app
Add the shipper address from where the orders will be shipped. You can add as many Ship From addresses as you want.

Step 5: Choose your preferred carrier services to display at checkout
Once you have added the carrier, the app will automatically enable all the carrier services by default. You can choose to display your preferred services if you do not require all of them.
You can also choose to display different services at checkout based on different shipping criteria like Zone, Quantity, Price, etc.

Step 6: Choose your preferred carrier services for shipping label generation
Once you have added the carrier, the app will automatically enable all the carrier services by default. You can choose different service(s) based on your requirement.
If you have selected multiple carrier services, the app will automatically choose the cheapest among them for label generation
You can also choose different services based on shipping criteria like Zone, Quantity, Price, etc for label generation

How Does the Order Fulfillment Work with the app?
Step 7: Add a product to the cart to get the real-time shipping rates
Click on a product, add it to the cart and calculate shipping rates. The app displays real-time carrier calculated shipping rates at the checkout page.

Once you have placed the order from your Bigcommerce store, it is automatically imported into the app. The app will automatically select the Shipping service based on the cheapest shipping cost or based on what the customer had selected during checkout and the order status will be changed to Processing.

Step 8: Print Shipping Labels for all your orders
Select the orders which you want to fulfill and click on Generate Labels.
Now, select the orders and click on Print Labels to print the shipping labels along with the other documents like Commercial Invoice or COD labels, as applicable for the orders

Step 9: Select the required orders and mark the orders as shipped
Once the packages are dispatched, select the orders and click on Mark As Shipped

The app automatically adds the tracking number to the Bigcommerce order details and marks the order as shipped.

Step 10: Send Live Tracking Notifications to your customers
The app sends live tracking notifications via email to your customers so that they can track their orders

Step 11: The Store owner can monitor the tracking status for all the orders
Monitoring all your shipments is made easy with the Live Tracking dashboard in the app. You can see the orders which are in Initial, In-transit, Out for Delivery, and Delivered status.
