So, it would be better to have a complete understanding of the features of this app. This article covers some of these features and how they can be used to ensure better FedEx shipments. We can also understand some real cases and see how these features come together to help in such cases.

In this article, we will show you how to use FedEx Shipment Tracking and FedEx Pickup features with the app. So, without any further delay, let us get into it.

What Makes Customers Happy?

In any business, the customer is king. The growth of any business completely depends on the experience of customers with a particular company. There are many ways to keep your customers happy. This includes calling them regularly and making sure that they are not facing any problems from the product side, replying to emails regularly, etc. These factors matter for the e-commerce industry as well. Store owners always look for the best options so that they can make their customers happy.

Every store requires a few features which can make the shipping process easy for the store owners. This includes order management, generating labels with ease, scheduling pickups, order tracking, placing an order with cash on delivery, etc. As mentioned, since Shopify provides these features only at a higher plan, the store owners have to go for a third-party solution. Now, let us see how these features can be fulfilled using the Shopify Ship, Rate, and Track for FedEx.

Scheduling Pickup Using the Shopify Ship, Rate, and Track for FedEx

For scheduling the FedEx pickup, the label for the particular order has to be generated. To know how to generate the label for Shopify orders in detail, kindly visit the label generation page.

After the label for the order has been generated, you have to set up the pickup settings. Under “Settings” of the Shopify Ship, Rate and Track for FedEx, go to the “Pickup” tab. This includes the pickup-related settings for your store.

Scheduling pickups
  • Pickup Start Time – This is the time after which FedEx can provide pickup for the packages.
  • Company Close Time – This shows the time after which FedEx cannot provide pickup for the packages.
  • Pickup Service –  You can choose from various FedEx pickup services.
  • Pickup Address – The address of the store from where FedEx can pick up your packages.

FedEx picks up your package according to the time you have set in the settings. For example, if you have given the “Pickup start time” as 9 AM and the “Company close time” as 6 PM, then the pickup will happen between this time interval. Also, you can select “Pickup service”.

Step 5: Go to your store, place an order, select the shipping service and go to the payment method page. You can see the cash-on-delivery option enabled on the payment methods. You can place your order using this method.
