Dokan Integration With WooCommerce Multi-Carrier Shipping

dokan integration with woocommerce shipping

With the beginning of a new financial year, we have special news to share with all of our customers. For the last couple of days, our team has been working with the Dokan Team on the native support for the WooCommerce Multi-Carrier Shipping Plugin. We are glad to announce that our plugin is fully compatible with Dokan MultiVendor Plugin.

Any WooCommerce store that offers multiple items from multiple vendors is bound to easily generate healthy sales and traffic. Having multiple vendors also reduces the stress of shipping and product management. That being said, Dokan is one of the best and most popular WooCommerce multivendor plugins.

The plugin lets your vendors enjoy the best features and services that are not available anywhere else. The WooCommerce Multi-Carrier Shipping plugin, on the other hand, is an amazing integration of multiple shipping carriers clubbed together to provide WooCommerce store owners with an easily accessible multi-carrier environment.

If you want anyone of your visitors to become your vendor then you can enable an option on the plugin settings page. Once you enable this option, anyone can register themselves as a vendor in your store.

With this combination, you will be highly efficient in streamlining the necessary steps required to fulfill an order. And using the Multi-Carrier Shipping plugin in a multivendor environment is as easy as it can get. All you need is to follow a few simple steps:

How to Integrate Dokan with WooCommerce Multi Carrier Shipping Plugin?

  1. Install and configure the Dokan. The following document will help you get your site ready in no time: Dokan Multi vendor-Getting Started.
  2. In WooCommerce > Dokan > Settings, you would be able to configure the plugin based on your needs. The following document should help configure both plugins.
  3. Install the WooCommerce Multi-Carrier Shipping Plugin from the PluginHive page. If you are already running it, make sure that you update it to the latest version (3.9.12 or newer).
  4. Verify that the Multi-Carrier Shipping plugin works. You can do that by checking if the shipping rates appear on the Cart and Checkout page.
  5. You are ready!

So, that’s about it. If you have any confusion or feel lost while configuring the plugins, you can check out our dedicated post regarding how you can set up a multi-vendor shipping scenario with WooCommerce Multi-Carrier Shipping plugin.

Hello! Can you tell me if each vendor will have to their own account for each shipping company? IF one of the vendors does not want to have their own account, how will the shipping be calculated?

      Hi,

Can you please let me know which all shipping carriers would you be using? Depending upon the shipping carrier, I can answer you that.
