How to add tracking number in order completion email in FedEx?
In this article, we will tell you how to add the shipment tracking number in the order completion email when using the WooCommerce FedEx Shipping Plugin with Print Label.

In addition to tracking email generated from FedEx, I want to include the FedEx tracking number in a “completed order” email from my website. Can you tell me how do I achieve this?

Yes, our FedEx plugin provides tracking information in order completion email.
We will take you through the entire process of how our FedEx plugin attaches tracking information in the order completion email.
Here’s what you should do:
- Once the order is placed, move to WooCommerce > Orders. You would see the entire list of orders on the site. A sample screenshot is shown below:
- Select an order. For this demonstration, let us select order no 172. You will see the order page as shown in the screenshot below.
Select the service from the create shipment box and create shipment. Once the shipment is created successfully, you will get a Print Label option.
Now mark the order as completed, from the Order Actions box and then save the order, as shown in the screenshot below:
Next, you will receive an order updated message on the screen as shown below:

Entering tracking number manually: if you only want the tracking information (not printing label), you can enter the tracking number manually and shipment date in FedEx shipment tracking box option, as shown in the screenshot below:
After entering the tracking number and shipment date, click on Save/Show Tracking Info button. You will see the tracking information on the page as shown in the screenshot below:
Next, mark the order as completed and save the order, you can see a message that the order completion mail is sent as shown in screenshot:
