Setting Up Vendors using Shopify Multi Vendor with Shipping App

This guide will help you in getting started with the Shopify Multi Vendor with Shipping App and how you can add multiple vendors on your Shopify store.

Setting Up Vendors or Sellers on your Shopify store

Shopify Multi Vendor with Shipping App lets you add vendors to your Shopify store in two different ways.

  1. Adding sellers via the app’s Seller panel
  2. Seller sign up via the Sign-Up Form

You can use both these methods to add sellers to your Shopify store using the steps explained below.

Adding Sellers via the App’s Seller Panel

  • After the successful installation of the App, click on the app and you will be able to access the App Dashboard as shown in the image below.

The Dashboard allows you to view statistics on the orders you have received as well as the products you have sold for up to 30 days.

  • Visit the Seller panel and click on Add New to add new vendors
  • Fill the seller details shown below and click on Save

As shown in the image, you can also set up commission rates for each vendor. The app lets you add commission rates in two ways,

  • Fixed Amount

Provide a fixed numeric value as commission and the app will calculate the commission in real-time as soon as the order is placed.

  • Percentage Amount

Provide a percentage (%) value and the app will calculate it from the Vendor’s order total.

  • On saving, you can visit the Seller tab and view the vendor listed there.
  • Once, you create a vendor account, the vendor will receive a Verification Email, as shown in the image below.

  • The link in the email will verify the seller’s email account and will prompt the vendor to set up a password for his account. Once the vendor has successfully verify the account and set a password for it, he can log in to the store.

Seller Sign up via the Seller Sign-up Form

  • You can also allow sellers to create an account and enter their store details using the Seller Sign-up Form from the following link – Seller Sign-up Form.
  • Vendors need to fill the form and click on SignUp, as shown in the image below.

  • You will be able to view all the registered vendors on the Seller tab, as shown in the image below.
  • In order to approve vendors, click on More Actions and select Approve.

Vendor Products

The app lets you add vendor products or assign a vendor to one or more vendors without any hassle.

Assign Product to Vendor

  • The app imports Shopify Product and lets you assign a vendor to the products from Products tab
  • Visit the Products tab and click on Import
  • Once all your Shopify products are listed, click on More Actions and select Assign Product to Seller, as shown in the image below
  • By default, all the Shopify Products will be assigned to the admin, unless it is assigned to a vendor.

Adding Vendor Products

  • Vendors can also add products to the Shopify store from the Vendor Dashboard, under the Products tab
  • Visit the Products tab and click on Add New, and fill the Product Details as shown in the image below

  • Once, the vendors have added the product, it has to be approved by the admin in order to get listed in the Shopify store.
